Updates
So the time has now come for an update which I know few will read yet I do this this mostly for myself as a form of release.
So I’ve been working for a month now and all’s good. Gotten used to everything and the procedures and the people. Am still single as fuck like always but at least NOW i’m getting a form of income. It feels so good to know you’re getting paid after a year and a half of getting absolutely nothing but pity money from your parents, and i’m not talking about huge sums here. I’m talking about the occasional 10euro A WEEK! So yes haha all’s good.
Now I’m getting excited for my big trip - four months in the USA and kick starting it with a whole week spent with my beloved Cheryl - a girl who I consider my soulmate who moved to England almost a year ago. We’ve kept very good contact since and it’s almost like she never left. Whenever we talk it’s always the same spark it was before she left which imo shows how much of a strong relationship we have, unlike with some people who live literally minutes away from me who don’t bother to text or fb message. Those people I’m learning to shut out. What worries me is that at the end of the day I’d be left with no one but I suppose that that would be much better than being stuck with those that don’t care.
Been getting University results in too and I’m impressed with myself about how well I did. I had a proper goal this year that’s why. Unlike any other year this year’s goal was set in stone - either study and get the exchange to the USA or fail and stay here. The latter wasn’t an option.
So yeah i’ve got a month till I leave and another 4 till I come back and 2011 will be over. I will not hesitate to say it’s going to be a year well spent!
